Harley Davidson is perhaps the most poplar American motorcycle company. This company in particular, has a long history of providing cycles that symbolize American pride, tradition, and style. There are specialized technicians, that are solely trained to be qualified for Harley Davidson, repair, and maintenance. In addition, Harley Davidson is the long time favorite for many of the avid bikers in the USA.

American Eagle is one of the most popular US companies as well. American Eagle cycles are designed with a certain type of rider in mind. They are designed to be top rate performing cycles, that are both high end, and very unique.

A lesser known cycle company is the Buell Motorcycle Company. Buell generally specializes in sports bikes and is based out of Eastern Troy, Wisconsin.

Another American cycle company that is lesser well-known has got a fun name. Sucker Punch Sally is based out of Scottsdale, AZ. It’s a company that features traditional bike styles, focusing on basic bobbers (often stripped), and choppers. Sucker Punch Sally’s is known for providing old school fashioned bikes at good prices. The 66 Bobber, and the Traditional are both featured bikes designed by Sucker Punch Sally’s. They were both 2007 award winners.

Another American Made MotorCycle Company is Saxon. This Saxon Company is currently situated in Medina, Minnesota. Minnesota is also the home-base of Polaris–a brand of snowmobiles, and all terrain vehicles.

Victory Motorcycles has an engineering department located in Osceola, Wisconsin. While the actual design home for Victory Cycles is Spirit Lake, Iowa.

One of the most notable American motorcycle manufactures is Harley-Davidson. Indian and Orange County Choppers are also two of the oldest and most notable American manufactures.

With many people looking for a custom motorcycle, names like Orange County Choppers and Titan have stepped in an made a strong impact on the motorcycle industry.

Harley-Davidson has become one of the most popular names associated with american made motorcycles. Gaining a large portion of it’s fame in and after WWII, Harley-Davidson motorcycles have maintained a collection of bikes that have attracted the attention of many different buyers. Harley-Davidson has maintained a classic design that has become a trademark look of the manufacturer.

Indian motorcycles, much like their competitor Harley-Davidson, gained notoriety during and after WWII. Indian motorcycles have also maintained a similar look over the years.

Orange County Choppers does not have the same advantage of age and history as a motorcycle manufacturer. Started in Orange county, California, Orange County Choppers has become a sensation in the motorcycle industry. Producing custom made “chopper” style motorcycles since 1999, Orange County Choppers gained real recognition on Discovery’s “American Chopper”.

Another custom motorcycle manufacturer is Titan motorcycles. Titan was one of the first manufacturers to produce custom motorcycles in mass production volumes.

American motorcycle manufacturing has an extensive history. Many manufacturers have gained notoriety and fame as the American motorcycle style, and the different names associated with American motorcycles, have grown in popularity, not only in America but internationally, too.
